Pure Pressure

… and that has never been more apparent than it has been in the last 24 hours (from the perspective of networking with other advocates).

Creating change in any community is difficult, but there are barriers in low income communities that only people who are from those communities or living in the community can understand. It’s interesting to hear stories from places that are able to do more (with ped/bike issues/safe routes to school), but sometimes it’s difficult to relate to them.

I think it will be very refreshing when I meet some people working on Safe Routes to School and pedestrian safety issues in similar environments as myself.
